Many workers are very worried about the lack of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) that they are expected to put up with in frontline jobs.
We have heard some horror stories about workers not being given the aprons, masks, goggles/visors and gloves and hand-washing facilities required to keep them safe.
We have also heard that some councils are being MISLED by agencies about the quality of protective gear being given to agency workers.
It is important that the issue of lack of PPE is treated as something collective and not an individual problem. Join a union and talk to your colleagues about your PPE concerns.
We recommend that to get extra help and advice, and to help campaigners collect information about the situation, you fill in one of the following online surveys.
